Effective, and I like the smell!

It works just fine, but because I don’t wear much makeup, other than eye makeup, I’m not as excited as I might be. The instructions do not deal with eye makeup removal in any great detail and that can be tricky.

Hi Janice, thanks for sharing your thoughts! We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble removing eye makeup with the bar. We recommend having your face completely dry, and rubbing the small edge or corner of the bar gently onto your eye to apply the product. You can also rub your fingers on the bar to work up product, and then use your fingers to massage the product onto your eyes. After gently massaging for at least 30 seconds, the makeup should slowly melt off your eye area. Then, apply water onto your face and gently emulsify for 30 seconds, and then rinse one more time with water. Removes makeup

This stuff works great. Takes makeup right off and doesn’t sting my eyes or dry out my skin. It’s also very compact and doesn’t make a mess in my medicine cabinet like the pump bottles of cleaner that I used to use did.

Fantastic!

This is so silky yet clean. I have oily skin but this cleans without clogging or leaving my skin greasy. My skin is hydrated and any pimples I have brewing are gone quicker than I've ever had after using this. Glad I tried it and subscribed!

  • Q: How long will it last?

    If you’ve ever used an oil cleanser, you know that a little goes a long way. Our bar lasts at least as long as a big 6 oz bottle of liquid oil cleanser. Some have found that it lasts twice as long. 

  • Q: How was this bar formulated? 

    In developing this natural Oil Cleanser bar, we studied high end oil cleansers on the market, meant for a bottle, meant to be a liquid, and worked with it for over a year to make it a solid bar. 

  • Q: Does the oil cleanser contain fragrance? 

    No, It does not contain any fragrance defined as an ingredient added for the sole purpose of scent.  We use Blue Tansy oil and Cucumber extract as ingredients to enhance the performance of the bar.  It has a light smell of blue tansy and cucumber. And the Blue Tansy is what gives the bar a light blue color. Based on our studies we discovered that most users do not want a fragrance in their face washes.

  • Q: What is the pH level of your face wash?

    The pH is between 4.5 and 5.5, matching your skin's pH level.

  • Q: Is ALL HiBAR packaging recyclable?

    Yes. In fact it's compostable as well. And we use plant-based inks. Our shipping materials are also either compostable, recyclable or biodegradable, including any packing tape or product protection. If it arrived in plastic, it did not come from us!

  • Q: Is HiBAR compostable?

    Our plastic free deodorant container is made from cardboard and is curbside compostable. They do compost and can be done at home, just like regular compost. But, if you are using the compost dirt to grow food, it’s probably best to use compost material like food scraps and other food grade, food by product material. You can compost our packaging to turn it back to the earth and use it as a filler somewhere.
