How to HiBAR

Apply oil.
Apply the bar directly to wet skin to remove makeup, oil, dirt or sunscreen. Use the beveled edge around the eyes to remove eye makeup. Oil can be left on the face for 10 minutes as an ultra hydrating mask.

Rinse Clean.
Use lukewarm water to thoroughly rinse away oil or gently wipe away with a wet washcloth.

How to store.
The same way you’d store a bar soap on your counter or in the shower—dry, away from direct water. HiBAR is designed to sit upright, helping it shed away moisture.

Q: How long will it last?
If you’ve ever used an oil cleanser, you know that a little goes a long way. Our bar lasts at least as long as a big 6 oz bottle of liquid oil cleanser. Some have found that it lasts twice as long.

Q: How was this bar formulated?
In developing this natural Oil Cleanser bar, we studied high end oil cleansers on the market, meant for a bottle, meant to be a liquid, and worked with it for over a year to make it a solid bar.

Q: Does the oil cleanser contain fragrance?
No, It does not contain any fragrance defined as an ingredient added for the sole purpose of scent. We use Blue Tansy oil and Cucumber extract as ingredients to enhance the performance of the bar. It has a light smell of blue tansy and cucumber. And the Blue Tansy is what gives the bar a light blue color. Based on our studies we discovered that most users do not want a fragrance in their face washes.

The pH is between 4.5 and 5.5, matching your skin's pH level.

Q: Is ALL HiBAR packaging recyclable?
Yes. In fact it's compostable as well. And we use plant-based inks. Our shipping materials are also either compostable, recyclable or biodegradable, including any packing tape or product protection. If it arrived in plastic, it did not come from us!

Q: Is HiBAR compostable?
Our plastic free deodorant container is made from cardboard and is curbside compostable. They do compost and can be done at home, just like regular compost. But, if you are using the compost dirt to grow food, it’s probably best to use compost material like food scraps and other food grade, food by product material. You can compost our packaging to turn it back to the earth and use it as a filler somewhere.
