Location:โ€‹โ€‹On-Site, St. Paul MN

Hourly Rate:โ€‹โ€‹$16.00 ย โ€‹ ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย โ€‹

Job Overview: The primary role of the Fulfillment Assistant is to prioritize and ship all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. ย The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining detailed records of shipments for management review. The Fulfillment Assistant may also be responsible for operating small scale warehouse equipment, software programs, and working in additional areas of the warehouse according to operational needs.

Duties and Responsibilities: ย The following is not an exhaustive list of duties; rather, it is a broad description of the work and major performance requirements. This Job Description is subject to change at anytime in support of the companyโ€™s goals and mission.

โ— Instill, model, and actively participate in company culture

โ— Carefully and accurately pick and fill daily orders

โ— Prioritize orders and ensure delivery dates are met or exceeded with accuracy and damage-free shipments according to established guidelines

โ— ย Package, label, and weigh items to be shipped; ensure proper shipment methods and shipping charges are followed

โ— Assist production and packaging with organizing stock and notify management if inventory levels are low

โ— ย Inform Lead or management of any damage to equipment or products

โ— ย Prepare pallet details (measurements, # of boxes, weight, & paperwork) and coordinate freight shipments with customer service and/or packaging

โ— ย Maintain shipping records according to Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP)

โ— ย Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPโ€™s) are followed; suggest improvements as identified

โ— ย Track daily numbers and maintain computer spreadsheets in preparation for review

โ— ย Develop and maintain effective relationships with all company employees as well as external company relationships

ย Skills & Qualifications:

โ— Experience with software programs and shipping equipment or ability to quickly learn

โ— Ability to problem solve and prioritize daily tasks according to level of urgency
โ— Highly detail oriented in both the English language and numbers, excellent communication skills
โ— Ability to remain focused on the task at hand
โ— Ability to respond professionally with customers as related to lost or damaged goods
โ— Ability to recognize and offer continuous improvements to the process
โ— Ability to work as a part of team and in other areas of the warehouse as needed
โ— Proactive and enthusiastic about delivering positive results
โ— Ability to learn from mistakes
โ— Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 30lbs and work around strong scents and ingredients
โ— Dependable, punctual, and able to work on-site according to departmental hours

Job Overview: ย The Production Assistant is an integral part of the manufacturing process. In this role the incumbent is primarily responsible for being part of a rotating team in the production of eco-friendly shampoos, conditioners, face washes, deodorants, and lotions. HiBARโ€™s manufacturing line includes machinery, molds, weights, hot pours, mixers, and other various equipment. Teamwork, consistency, speed, focus, dependability, and attention to detail are critical to meet the daily volume requirements of this position and to achieve departmental goals.

โ— Work as a part of a rotating team to produce quality products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures
โ— Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate safety equipment according to each area and/or machineโ€™s requirements
โ— Assist with maintaining records for lot tracing
โ— Meet daily production goals
โ— Maintain a clean and sanitary work station
โ— Develop and maintain effective relationships with production team and cross-departmental employees
โ— Identify and make recommendations for improvements
โ— Follow all company guidelines regarding punching in/out


Skills and Qualifications:

โ— Desire to make an immediate difference to our planet's environmentย 

โ— Experience in manufacturing; commercial kitchen or bakery; back of house restaurant; cottage food industry or shared kitchen is preferred, but we will consider training those who have demonstrated a willingness to learn and can follow documented processes.

โ— Desire to be a part of a fast-paced work environment, and can easily adapt to change

โ— Detailed oriented
โ— Ability to multitask
โ— Ability to focus on repetitive tasks
โ— Willingness to take direction and make improvements
โ— Ability to work both independently as well as part of team
