Update on this review: I reached out to the company about palm oil being in their ingredients, and they were not only forthcoming, but also stated they were actively investigating and working towards eliminating palm oil from the ingredients as provided from their suppliers. For now, this was the company’s statement: “Our bars are not made directly with palm oil or palm oil derivatives, however, some of our ingredients may periodically contain palm oil derivatives.”
I had high hopes with this shampoo bar, but it just didn't cater to my wild n' crazy hair that tangles/mats easily. I really liked the citrusy smell of the shampoo bar, though, and it stayed on my hair during a full and active day/schedule. (Sometimes with the other bars, they would smell really pleasant, but the scent would fade pretty fast, leaving hair kinda stinky by day's end.) And, while it didn't feel as gunky/rubbery on my hair, it unfortunately didn't have the same itch-reduction/cleansing feeling as some of the other shampoo bars I tried. It does have a shape that's easier to use on hair...it's like a teardrop but with an angle. I'm kinda clumsy, so this felt less like an accident waiting to happen when I used it on my hair.
