How to HiBAR

How to hold.
Cup the bar in your palm, rest the long edge against your fingers. Use your fingertips to guide the beveled top through your hair.

How to lather.
Apply the bar directly to your very wet hair, massaging into your scalp and roots until you feel a lather. Rinse thoroughly.

How to store.
The same way you’d store a bar soap in your shower – dry, away from direct water. HiBAR is designed to sit upright, helping it shed any moisture.

Conditioner bar sample
Perfect size for travel and for experimenting to see what works. I have so far only tried the volumize bar which managed to tame my fine flyaway hair. I will try the others but will probably love the volumize bar the most.

Works Great
Loved trying this sampler and being able to try the three different varieties. I like how the ingredient list is easy to read and understand. I like how all the packaging is recyclable and compostable. My hair feels so soft and clean without build up and my curls are nice and bouncy. High quality product I can recommend.

Easy travel! Smells good.
I have been searching for a good conditioner that is travel friendly. I gave HiBar Conditioner a try and absolutely love it. I did rub the bars into my hands prior to rubbing into my hair. The bars lather okay (not as nicely as the shampoo) with my hair which is thin and shoulder length. The conditioner rinses clean without the feeling of residue left behind. I waited to write this review because I wanted to give several washes and rinses to see if there was any build up - which I have not had any issues with. The scent is light and smells decent. I love that traveling is super easy with these bars versus liquid. Highly recommend.

Q: Does it lather?
A: Yes! Apply HiBAR shampoo directly to your very wet hair, massaging into your scalp and roots until you feel a good lather. (Remember, lathering is not really a measure of how a shampoo is working.) Rinse thoroughly.

Q: How long does one HiBAR last?
A: It really depends on the length and thickness of your hair and how often you wash. We like to be conservative on this, rather than overpromise, so we say that a HiBAR shampoo bar lasts AT LEAST as long as a 16oz bottle, and our conditioners last as long as two 16 oz bottles.

Q: Is HIBAR natural?
Yes, we're using almost entirely plant-based ingredients. We're all about getting rid of nasty chemicals. Plus, we hope to one day be accepted into the most demanding natural stores and co-ops, and so we're formulating our products with that happy far-off day in mind.

Q: What does HiBAR smell like?
We use a blend of essential oils and other plant based ingredients to give HiBAR a gentle citrus aroma. It's just enough to give your shower a refreshing feel, but not so strong that it's going to cling to your hair. NOTE: Because the fragrance is from essential oils, the aroma is strongest when the bar is first removed from the packaging, and will soften as the bar is left out in the open.

Q: Will HiBAR turn to mush in my shower?
No, not if you store it correctly, out of standing water, and away from direct spray from the shower.
