    Cup the bar in your palm, rest the long edge against your fingers. Use your fingertips to guide the beveled top through your hair.

    Apply the bar directly to your very wet hair, massaging into your scalp and roots until you feel a lather. Rinse thoroughly.

Hair is soft and smells good

I was actually impressed by this conditioner bar sampler. It can take some time to activate the bar and get some conditioner in your hair, but once you start feeling your hair getting that slippery feeling, you know it's in there working its magic. The bar doesn't disintegrate either, and that's a bonus. It rinses cleanly and left my hair feeling quote soft and manageable upon drying. This is good stuff.

Love The Shampoo!

The bar sampler was great! Loved trying out the different bars for my hair and that it lathered into my hair so well. Definitely leaves my hair feeling clean!

Doesn't take much

I just rubbed conditioner in my hands. Then from hands onto hair. I let it sit a minute, then rinsed. It made my hair tangle free, but still that nice clean shampoo feel. It is great.

I love the sustainability factor

I really love how this cuts down on unnecessary plastic and packaging. These are compact but last awhile. I love the scents as well. Plus they take up way less space in the shower which is always a plus. I like that this included 3 different ones. I honestly loved all 3!

They asked, we answered

  • Q: Does it lather?

    A: Yes! Apply HiBAR shampoo directly to your very wet hair, massaging into your scalp and roots until you feel a good lather. (Remember, lathering is not really a measure of how a shampoo is working.) Rinse thoroughly.

  • Q: How long does one HiBAR last?

    A: It really depends on the length and thickness of your hair and how often you wash. We like to be conservative on this, rather than overpromise, so we say that a HiBAR shampoo bar lasts AT LEAST as long as a 16oz bottle, and our conditioners last as long as two 16 oz bottles.

  • Q: Is HIBAR natural?

    Yes, we're using almost entirely plant-based ingredients. We're all about getting rid of nasty chemicals. Plus, we hope to one day be accepted into the most demanding natural stores and co-ops, and so we're formulating our products with that happy far-off day in mind.

  • Q: What does HiBAR smell like?

    We use a blend of essential oils and other plant based ingredients to give HiBAR a gentle citrus aroma. It's just enough to give your shower a refreshing feel, but not so strong that it's going to cling to your hair. NOTE: Because the fragrance is from essential oils, the aroma is strongest when the bar is first removed from the packaging, and will soften as the bar is left out in the open.

  • Q: Will HiBAR turn to mush in my shower?

    No, not if you store it correctly, out of standing water, and away from direct spray from the shower.

  • Q: How do I hold HiBAR?

    Cup the bottom of the bar in the palm of your hand, rest the long edge against the lengths of your fingers, then use your fingertips to guide the bevelled top through your hair.
