How to HiBAR

Remove cap, push gently from the bottom and apply to underarms. If irritation occurs, stop use.

Pretty good, but irritation happened

I was hopeful for this after trying the Bergamot+Cedar and smelling awful (after already having transitioned months prior to natural deodorant) and it smelled much better with my body. I got super excited and thought I had finally found it! But then half way through I began to break out and itch terribly, which seemed odd since I had already used most of the other scent and half of this one as well. But, it was great while I was able to use!

Awesome Scent and No Irritation

I love the scent - not too flowery, not too strong. It keeps me odor free all day even when I have stress sweat, which we all know smells the worst. I've even skipped my daily shower, and I was still odor free. This deodorant glides on smoothly, and it does not irritate my sensitive skin like others I have tried. Very happy with the product and the packaging!

I like it!!

I recently switched to using natural deodorants, and decided to try out HiBar's version. I like it a lot! It glides on smoothly, uses recyclable material, and works great as a deodorant! I will buy this again.

  • Q: Does it lather?

    A: Yes! Apply HiBAR shampoo directly to your very wet hair, massaging into your scalp and roots until you feel a good lather. (Remember, lathering is not really a measure of how a shampoo is working.) Rinse thoroughly.

  • Q: How long does one HiBAR last?

    A: It really depends on the length and thickness of your hair and how often you wash. We like to be conservative on this, rather than overpromise, so we say that a HiBAR shampoo bar lasts AT LEAST as long as a 16oz bottle, and our conditioners last as long as two 16 oz bottles.

  • Q: Is HIBAR natural?

    Yes, we're using almost entirely plant-based ingredients. We're all about getting rid of nasty chemicals. Plus, we hope to one day be accepted into the most demanding natural stores and co-ops, and so we're formulating our products with that happy far-off day in mind.

  • Q: What does HiBAR smell like?

    We use a blend of essential oils and other plant based ingredients to give HiBAR a gentle citrus aroma. It's just enough to give your shower a refreshing feel, but not so strong that it's going to cling to your hair. NOTE: Because the fragrance is from essential oils, the aroma is strongest when the bar is first removed from the packaging, and will soften as the bar is left out in the open.

  • Q: Will HiBAR turn to mush in my shower?

    No, not if you store it correctly, out of standing water, and away from direct spray from the shower.

  • Q: How do I hold HiBAR?

    Cup the bottom of the bar in the palm of your hand, rest the long edge against the lengths of your fingers, then use your fingertips to guide the bevelled top through your hair.
